Naturally odor resistant

Wools natural waxy coating (lanolin), relatively neutral electric charge, and unique microstructure, fights off bacteria and allows it to readily absorb moisture. These odor resistant properties keep you fresh.

Thermoregulation

Duel climate temperature regulation is a premier quality of wool that can regulate body temperature in both cool and warm climates. The natural structure of the wool fibre allow it to trap dry air and warmth near the skin in cool climates. Wool's coil-like shape pulls access heat and moisture from the skin, cooling it naturally.

Moisture regulation

Merino wools combination of its ability to hold nearly one-third of its dry weight in water vapor before feeling wet to the touch and its capillary wicking properties provides a an evaporation system that naturally regulates your microclimate by wicking moisture from your body to evaporate.

Insulates when wet

Merinos "heat of sorption" property is the process of generating heat as it absorbs water. This unique process is one of the reasons wool continues to insulate even when soaking wet.

Antibacterial and antimicrobial

The natural lanolin coating, a waxy layer containing fatty acids, repel water and inhibit the growth of mildew, mold, and bacteria. These properties reduce the need for woolen items to be washed on a regular basis while maintaining a fresh smell after repeated use.
